Established in 1983, the Peterson family has preserved the essence of a beach front atmosphere seafood shack, minus the beach. Now, with 5 locations throughout the Metroplex, Aw Shucks and Big Shucks welcome all families, friends, and co-workers to experience DFW’s Best Shuckin’ Seafood!

We offer a wide variety of fresh seafood choices including fried shrimp, oysters, and catfish, boiled shrimp and crab legs, fresh grilled seafood, fish tacos, po’ boy sandwiches and much more. Try our “House Specialty Shrimp Cocktail” a chilled beer glass mug filled fresh shrimp, avocado, onion, cilantro, tomatoes and Serrano peppers.

We offer a wide variety of fresh seafood choices including shrimps, oysters, catfish, crawfish and much more. We source our fresh oysters from Prestige Oysters, a second-generation, family-owned and operated business specializing in oysters for decades. We purchase our catfish from Superior Catfish – farmed by a colony of Mennonites in Macon, Mississippi. We source our domestic wild-caught crab legs from Trident Seafood. Trident fishes the icy cold waters of Alaska as they have done for over 40 years. Our award-winning crawfish comes from Frugé Seafood, a 3,500-acre crawfish farm located in Branch, Louisiana – west of Lafayette.
